Argentinian general (born 1926), he was member of the military junta ruling [[Argentina]] after the 1976 coup. In 1982 he ordered the invasion of the british [[Falkland]] islands (a.k.a. Malvinas), which caused war with [[Great Britain]]. The war ended with the british forces retaking the islands.
