Abd al-Halim

ʻAbd al-Ḥalīm (ALA-LC romanization of Arabic: عبد الحليم) is a male Muslim given name, and in modern usage, surname. It is built from the Arabic words ʻabd and al-Ḥalīm, one of the names of God in the Qur'an, which gives rise to the Muslim theophoric names.[1][2] It means "servant of the all-clement".
