Kristyn Harris is a American Western Music singer, songwriter, and swing rhythm guitar player.[1][2] Harris commonly performs music styles Cowboy Music and Western Swing.
Harris regularly performs in Western Music Shows and Cowboy Poetry Gatherings[3][4][5][6], and has been featured on television[3] and radio.[7] In 2017 she featured in the Santa Clarita Cowboy Festival.[8] She generally performs solo but has been a member of the Horse Crazy Cowgirl Band.[9]
She has performed her music internationally, at the Equiblues Festival of Rodeo and Country Music in France in 2016.[10]
In 2018 she was a contestant in American Idol, obtaining a Golden Ticket.[11]
Harris was home schooled and then studied on-line via Collin College, both of which facilitated continuing her education after her early start as a performer from the age of 14. [12]
