Nina Gademan (born 30 September 2003),[1] previously known as Nina Pothof, is a Dutch racing driver who is currently competing in the F4 British Championship with Fortec Motorsport and briefly competed in F1 Academy with Prema Racing. She won gold in the 2019 FIA Motorsport Games Karting Slalom Cup.[2][3]
Career

[edit]In 2018, Gademan was chosen as a finalist for the 2019 FIA Girls On Track Le Mans Shootout.[4] She was then selected as one of six drivers for the Girls on Track European Team.[5]
She competed in the Karting Slalom Cup in the 2019 FIA Motorsport Games, winning gold with her teammate Bastiaan van Loenen.[6]
British F4 Championship
[edit]Gademan made her single-seater debut in the 2024 British F4 Championship, driving for Fortec Motorsports. She earned her only rookie podium in the fourth round, with a finish of 13th at Thruxton. Her best result of the season was a 11th place at the seventh round of the season at Knockhill. Gademan finished 19th in the championship with 25 points.[7][8][9]
F1 Academy
[edit]On 21 August 2024, Nina Gademan was chosen as the wildcard for the fourth round of F1 Academy in Zandvoort.[10] She ended in 6th place in both qualifying 1 and 2, and scored points in both races, becoming the first wildcard driver to do so.[11] She ended in 4th place in race 1, and crossed the line in 4th again for race 2, but was classified in 10th place after receiving a penalty for contact with Aurelia Nobels.[12][13]
