The Yellow Tie is an upcoming biographical drama film directed by Serge Ioan Celibidachi and starring John Malkovich as conductor Sergiu Celibidache, the father of the director.[2][3][4]

Production
[edit]In September 2022, it was announced that Rupert Friend would be cast as the younger version of Celibidache.[5] In June 2023, it was announced that Friend was replaced by Schnetzer.[6] Also in June, it was announced that Bean, Richardson, Phillips, Lesser and Rowe were also cast in the film.[1]
Filming occurred in Romania, particularly in Sala Palatului, in June 2023.[7][8]
