I think I took care of the "unreliable source" message - this new reference should be much better. Journal of Neuroscience Methods is a pretty solid publication. And the Gourévitch-Eggermont article I am now citing contains the statement "..the most famous method of burst detection remains the Poisson surprise (PS) method.." and includes the citation of the Legéndy-Salcman paper. I approved his draft because I think it has a reasonable chance of passing AfD. Anyone may of course challenge it--only the community can decide.
