| Description |
English: Last summer, I was returning from Nepalgunj after shooting a documentary on farming when I came across this forest fire at Bardiya National Park. I got off to take pictures when an Army officer asked me to stop taking pictures. I asked him where it started and he said that the fire started at Chure and reached Bardiya. There were two army officers using blankets to control the fire. While the officer said "every summer, this is our work. We use buckets of water and blankets to stop forest fires." Let's hope they get the right equipment this summer to control forest fires. |
