This is a retouched picture, which means that it has been digitally altered from its original version. Modifications: 'Alongside colour balance adjustments, some selective desaturation of colours in shadows. This selective adjustment *might* (IMHO) be starting to blur the lines between non-artistic colour-balance/level correction and selective alteration. Given that the original uploader also had some uncertainty about how accurate the colour in this version was (see discussion here), I've re-uploaded this as a more clearly altered upload separate to the original. Changes:- (i) Basic colour balance adjusted by setting grey point (using tarmac as basis) (ii) Areas of shadow desaturated to reduce nonlinear cast problems (iii) couple of v. minor spots removed. (Attempted to remain faithful to original with no retouches to detail itself)..

Although my changes to Charles01's originals are not credit-worthy in themselves, you may wish to note that someone other than the original uploader has altered the colours in this version of the image!CarbonCaribou (talk) 22:53, 29 September 2015 (UTC)
