Español: Bandera de la ciudad de Táriba y a su vez del municipio Cárdenas del estado Táchira.
Azul, verde y rojo, en tres franjas horizontales, iguales. Representa la esplendidez de un cielo claro. A la izquierda lleva una media luna en amarillo que simboliza la Virgen de la Consolación y la devoción del pueblo a la reliquia cuatricentenaria. El verde representa la riqueza agrícola del municipio en sus frutos característicos: cafeto, caña de azúcar, tabaco, maíz, guineo, frutas, hortalizas y el vetusto samán(hijo del de Güere), luciendo su generosa ancianidad en la antiquísima Plazuela. Tiene cuatro estrellas blancas horizontales, que simbolizan los 4 municipios del antiguo Distrito Cárdenas. El rojo representa la sangre derramada por los indígenas, los Táribas, en su lucha contra los invasores de la expedición tocuyana de 1547,comandada por el capitán español Alonso Pérez de Tolosa. |
