English: Chimney, Longpark. A closer view of the chimney shown in 670079 and 1059591. It dates from 1847-8 and is described as "tapering chimney with deep ashlar plinth and tall round-headed recesses on each face. String course towards the top and, above it, corner pilasters. Heavy cornice on moulded corbels below low-pitched pyramidal roof" at https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1217986 . The building material is the grey limestone commonly used in this area.
I worked at these premises 36 years ago, but it was during the winter, and it was a night job unloading fruit and veg lorries, so it was difficult to appreciate the surroundings.
