Description
Deutsch: Das Ständehaus (Sitz des hessischen Landtags) in Darmstadt am Luisenplatz im Jahr 1888. Der Sitz der Landstände des Großherzogtums Hessen war im Ständehaus am Luisenplatz in Darmstadt. An diesem Platz befanden sich außerdem die Residenz des Großherzogs (Altes Palais, heute steht dort das Luisencenter) und der Regierungssitz (Kollegiengebäude, heute Sitz des Regierungspräsidiums Darmstadt). Das Ständehaus wurde 1836 bis 1839 erbaut und im Zweiten Weltkrieg wie auch das Alte Palais komplett zerstört. Heute befindet sich an seiner Stelle die Zentrale der Sparkasse Darmstadt.
