Summary
| Description |
English: Two Abate Fetel pears, harvested the same day. The right one was treated with a 1-methylcyclopropene-based product, unlike the left one. Both fruits were stressed by being put in an ethylene-rich atmosphere in order to accelerate ripening, then left in open air for days. The ripening continued in the control sample, while in the treated one it was considerably slowed.
Français : Deux poires Abbé Fétel, récoltées le même jour. Celle de droite a été traitée avec 1-methylcyclopropene-produit de base, contrairement à celle de gauche. Les deux fruits ont été placés dans une atmosphère riche en éthylène pour en accélérer le mûrissement, puis laissés à l'air libre plusieurs jours. Le contrôle des échantillons a montré que le mûrissement du fruit traité a été considérablement ralenti. |
