Description
English: A view of the Japanese ironclad Hiei, a Kongō-class cruiser that brought survivors of the Ottoman frigate Ertuğrul that sank in Japan to Constantinople (now Istanbul) in 1890. It is moored in the harbor. Hiei was the sister ship of Kongō. On 5 October, the sister ships departed Shinagawa for Kobe to pick up the 69 survivors of the wrecked Ottoman frigate Ertuğrul, repatriating them to Constantinople, Turkey. They arrived on 2 January 1891.
Türkçe: Japonya'da batan Osmanlı firkateyni Ertuğrul'dan hayatta kalanları Konstantinopolis'e (şimdi İstanbul) getiren Kongō sınıfı zırhlı kruvazör Japon Hiei'nin bir görünümü, 1891. Limanda demirli. Hiei, Kongo'nun kardeş gemisiydi. 5 Ekim'de kardeş gemiler, harap olmuş Osmanlı fırkateyni Ertuğrul'dan sağ kalan 69 kişiyi almak ve onları Türkiye'deki Konstantinopolis'teki anavatanlarına taşımak için Kobe'ye gitmek üzere Shinagawa'dan ayrıldı. 2 Ocak 1891'de geldiler.
