Summary

Description
English: Hurricane Katia, Tropical Storm Maria, Tropical Storm Nate - three cyclones churn in the Atlantic basin. Katia is most likely headed out to sea, slipping between the U.S. and Bermuda. Maria, somewhat unorganized, is headed for the islands of the Caribbean and Bahamas. Nate may move west into Mexico or north in the the U.S. Gulf Coast - it is unclear. All in all, it is a busy day for hurricane trackers. This GOES-13 full disk image captured on September 8, 2011 at 1445z shows all three storms.
