Original caption: Kurze 15 cm Kanone in Halbrahmen-lafette. Canon court de 15 cm de navire sure affut à demi-chassis. 15 cm (80 pr.) short naval gun on half-slide-carriage.
Note that the long 15 cm Kanone in Halbrahmen-lafette had the English caption 80 pr. (4 tons).

The half-slide carriages for 15 cm guns were designed in 1877 (c/77). There was a version for RK and MRK guns and a version for Mantel Kanonen (MK).
