English: Launching Clogherhead lifeboat. There is a busy fishery harbour at Clogherhead and there has been a lifeboat station since 1899. The Mersey class lifeboat Doris Bleasdale is about to launch on exercise. Clogherhead is the only beach-launched RNLI lifeboat in Ireland. (Note: the lifeboat station is by the beach to the south of the fishery harbour).
