English: General view of the crowd at the launching of the 1,000th Canadian-built vessel at the opening of Canada's seventh Victory Loan drive. Marking the opening of Canada's seventh Victory Loan, the 1,000th vessel (and 500th warship) launched in Canada since the start of the war, was sent down the ways at a huge victory loan rally in Toronto, one of ten ships launched in similar ceremonies from coast to coast.
