English: The Luzinzi River is a significant waterway located in the Kaziba Chiefdom of the Walungu Territory, South Kivu Province, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). It is one of the most prominent rivers in the area, contributing to diverse hydrology. The Luzinzi River arise from the southern mountain range, in particular the Mubuga swamps, in the Walungu area. It flows vigorously through the Kashozi groupement before merging with the Lulindja River, forming a valley that bears its name. The river is critical for various purposes, including agriculture, fishing, and domestic use. The fertile soils and abundant water from the Luzinzi River also support local farming activities, enabling the cultivation of crops like coffee, tea, maize, and cassava.
