| Description | MG Motor is a British sports car manufacturing company founded in 1924. MG got its name from "Morris Garages", a dealer of Morris cars in Oxford. MG went from owner to owner like BMC, BL, Rover and BMW. Nowadays it is part of the Chinese Nanjing Automobile Group which in 2009 renamed the English manufactory in Longbridge ‘MG Motor UK Limited’. MG now stands for ‘Modern Gentleman’. |
