DescriptionMorse Dry Dock Company dry dock and piers, 1900.jpg
English: Illustration of the planned sectional dock, piers and workshops of the Morse Dry Dock Company, New York, 1900. The illustrations are based on company plans as construction of these facilities was not completed until 1903. The artist has imagined the floating dock as it would look with the just-completed British ocean liner Oceanic in it, then the world's largest liner but capable of being lifted by the 700-foot dock.
