English: Newport Guildhall Newport's Guildhall is a Grade II* listed building. It consists of two buildings which date from late 15th and early 16th century. They seem to have been planned as two separate buildings and joined up at a later date. The main hall/booth hall on the left was a medieval open hall and has very fine quatrefoil windbraces. The Guildhall was restored in the early 1990's and reopened in 1995 as Newport town council offices.
