Summary

Description
English: On a visit to nearby Zeugma the town of Nizip provided some sights, in particular what must have been a rather large church, in 2008 out of use, and a pastoral centre. Some houses showed fine architecture. The church is called, according to Pat Yale, whom I once spent a day of travel with and who is a Turkey specialist, Fevkanı church. Like me she found it closed, and did not find more information than: served as a mosque for a while, later was a warehouse, used as a centre for disabled people, then closed.
