[edit]Sidewheel steamer Ocean Wave, photo taken unknown location, probably either Columbia River, Willamette River, Puget Sound, or Fraser River. Photo is taken after 1891, date of construction, and prior to 1900, when this vessel was reconstructed as a ferry. Boat appears to be out of service. Proximate source is Momaday, Natachee Scott, Owl in the Cedar Tree U. of Nebraska Press (1992), ultimate source and photographer unknown. Fair use is claimed for Ocean Wave (sidewheeler) on grounds of historical interest and no known commercial use of the original.
