Summary

Description
English: This photograph was taken by me at the Srikanteshwara temple (also spelt Srikanteshvara) in Nanjangud, Mysore district, Karnataka state, India. The original consecration of the temple is ascribed to the Western Ganga Dynasty in about the 9th-10th century. Later contributions were made by kings of the Chola Dynasty, the Hoysala Empire and the Mysore kingdom. The overall architectural style is Dravidian.
