DescriptionPlas Dinas - the ancestral home of The Lord Snowdon - geograph.org.uk - 722082.jpg
English: Plas Dinas - the ancestral home of The Lord Snowdon. This was originally the home of Tony Armstrong Jones' paternal grandmother, Margaret Roberts, the daughter of Sir Owen Roberts. Margaret married Robert Jones, a chapel minister's son from Ynyscynhaearn, who became a distinguished psychiatrist and the head of a large London mental hospital. Their son, Ronald Armstrong Jones, lived for a period at Plas Dinas when Lord Snowdon was a lad. The family tomb is at St Gwyndaf's church.
