English: Champion marksman (Schützenkönig) at the Adlerschießen crossbow shooting contest during the annual Rutenfest festival in Ravensburg, Germany.
The golden orb being held aloft is one of the prime targets of the popinjay, which this shooter has managed to dislodge.
Deutsch: Schützenkönig beim Adlerschießen der Gymnasiasten am Rutenfest in Ravensburg im Juli 2004 ist ein Mitglied der Schüler-Trommelgruppe "Landsknechte", die das Adlerschießen traditionell eröffnet. In seiner rechten Hand die Trophäe des Schützenkönigs, der Reichsapfel, den er mit der Armbrust geschossen hat; in der linken Hand die Schützenfahne in den Stadtfarben blau-weiß, die er neben anderen Ehrenpreisen erhält. |
