English: Afghan Air Force UH-60 Blackhawks fly over the Red Desert Dec. 8, 2018, while participating in the NATO led Resolute Support mission in Afghanistan. The mission of Train, Advise, Assist, Command-Air is to train, advise, and assist Afghan partners to develop a professional, capable, and sustainable air force. TAAC-Air leverages train, advise and assist activities in concert with strong personal relationships, to create professional Afghan Airmen capable of planning, leading, employing, and sustaining decisive airpower operations.
