DescriptionRegent House from Parliament Square - geograph.org.uk - 1741395.jpg
English: Regent House from Parliament Square. With the exception of that of the Campanile, this is probably the most iconic view of Trinity College Dublin [TCD] (Irish: Coláiste na Tríonóide, Baile Átha Cliath). The university was founded in 1592 by the Virgin Queen and given the name College of the Holy and Undivided Trinity of Queen Elizabeth near Dublin. Unlike some other universities in Great Britain and Ireland it has throughout its history consisted of only one constituent college.
