Description
English: Astronaut Bruce McCandless II, mission specialist, participates in an untethered extra-vehicular activity (EVA), a few meters away from the cabin of the Space Shuttle Challenger. He is using a nitrogen-propelled hand-controlled manned maneuvering unit (MMU). The picture shows a cloud view of the earth in the background.
This is a retouched picture, which means that it has been digitally altered from its original version. Modifications: Cropping image to centralize astronaut. Modifications made by Colds7ream.
