Description

Postcard of interior of St Lawrence, Pudsey, or Pudsey Parish Church, in Pudsey, West Yorkshire, England. Designed by Thomas Taylor, built 1821-1823. Benjamin Payler (1841-1907) carved the pulpit during the 1887-1888 restoration of the building.

This card is postmarked 27 February 1911, and addressed to Mrs F.W. Boon, 88 Trinity Street, Gainsborough. The message wishes her "many happy returns of the day" from Annie. The following has been added later in different handwriting: "Frank Boon married to Katy Webster in this church September 21 1910.

Unknown author information: Postcard books have been checked; the library has been checked; an online search has been done. No evidence of the author has been found.
