Description
English: Original figure 1 from experiment 2 of the article "Studies of interference in serial verbal reactions" (1935) Stroop J.R. Journal of Experimental Psychology 18: 643-622; the original article that described the Stroop effect in English. The diagram shows that it takes less time to name colors of squares (no conflict) than saying the ink color of a when what is written a different color (conflict)
