DescriptionTannoy Little Gold monitor - professional studio loudspeaker box.jpg
English: Tannoy Little Gold monitor, a professional studio loudspeaker box used in recording studios, broadcasting studios etc. It is typically used in pairs for stereo listening.
The design is a two-way-design with the loudspeaker driver for the high frequencies (crossover frequency 1.400 Hz) being located in the center dome of the large bass speaker. At first sight, this looks like a one-way-broadband design which would be highly unusual for a high-quality loudspeaker box for professional use. When enlarging the picture, the second, smaller loudspeaker driver for the higher frequencies can be seen in the middle of the large speaker.
The year when these loudspeakers first came out was around 1990. In the year 2022, used speaker pairs are in a price range between about 2.000 and 3.000 Euros.
