Edited by Markos Mousouros and Aldus Manutius; preface in Greek and Latin; the editio princeps of nine of the comedies (Plutus, Clouds, Frogs, Knights, Acharnians, Wasps, Birds, Peace, Ecclesiazusae), known as the ‘Aldin e Aristophanes’ ; Lysistrata and Thesmophoriazusae were not printed until 1515
