Description
Deutsch: Spätantiker Eckturm an der Westmauer des Kastells Dinogetia am niedermoesischen Donaulimes südöstlich der Stadt Galatz, wahrscheinlich diokletianischer Zeitstellung. Die seit 1939 ergrabenen Mauerreste wurden nach der archäologischen Untersuchung teils konserviert, in einem Abschnitt auch restauriert und teilrekonstruiert.
English: Late Antique corner tower on the west wall of the fort on Dinogetia in Lower Moesia's Danube limes, southeast of the city of Galati, probably dating of Diocletian. The wall remains were excavated in 1939 by the archaeological investigation partly preserved in a section also restored and partly reconstructed.
