Anaglyph image?

[edit]

The virtual boy had a monochromatic red display, this screentshot seems to be from an emulator which is outputting an anaglyph image. boffy_b 01:03, 19 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, but short of using a Stereogram, which would require the reader to use some odd method to view, it's the easiest. It also makes it obvious that the picture is stereo, as using a single all-red picture wouldn't. Ehurtley 05:55, 25 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Just saw a random person on the internet try to argue that this is actually the type of image the Virtual Boy produced. I'm somewhat worried this "simulated" image is doing more harm than good. Should there be some kind of warning or a more prominent label where this image is used? Or should we just not worry about stupid people? 184.88.239.38 (talk) 11:44, 21 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Backwards

[edit]

This is a blue-red anaglyph, not a red-blue. You have to wear your glasses upside-down to view it. 118.209.32.171 (talk) 12:58, 1 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It wasn't just backwards, there was just something very wrong with the screenshot - the perspective on the court was way out but the background trees were the correct way round. Buggy emulator perhaps? I've taken a screenshot in another emulator and the 3D has come out correctly Brainfloat (talk) 23:45, 12 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

'web resolution'?

[edit]

Am I the only one who finds humor in using "it's only web resolution" as a reason why this is an acceptable image? After all, the actual machine in question only output in "web resolution"... Ehurtley 05:56, 25 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
