Possible image without correct source
[edit]This image is lacking a source, according to the 10th Fair use guideline:
Proper attribution of the source of the material, and attribution of the copyright holder (if it is different) where possible.
Also:
For reusers, particularly commercial reusers, the most important part of a fair use description is good information on the original source of the image. That is essential to allow them to make their own determination of whether their own use is fair use. They can't rely on our judgment because they have legal liability regardless of what we say. Identifying the original source is good practice in general, as it bolsters our claim that we are not trying to defraud the original copyright holder.
In other words, reusers (commercials like Answers.com or non-commercial ones) need to know from where the image is coming to determine themselves the correct copyright information, as they can't rely on what Wikipedia members state.
If possible, inform the source in the image page by stating from where it comes:
- If picked from a website, please add the full URL to the image and/or the full URL to the page containing the image.
- If scanned, please inform in the image page that the image has been scanned, and add information about the magazine, book or cover from where the image was scanned including full title, edition, release date, page number and image author (if possible, both the artist who made the image, and the user who scanned it).
- If it is a screenshot you took from a DVD, could you inform the season, episode number and episode title? Also, clarify that it was you the one who took it, please.
- If a game screenshot, could you specify who took it, and if possible whether it was with an emulator or another way?
