On the review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, 87% of 38 critics' reviews are positive, with an average rating of 7.1/10. The website's consensus reads: "High & Low - John Galliano surveys a public figure's fall from grace with intelligence and even-handedness, making for a consistently compelling watch."[3] Metacritic, which uses a weighted average, assigned the film a score of 58 out of 100, based on 14 critics, indicating "mixed or average" reviews.[4]
