Degerbøl's blind snake (Siagonodon borrichianus) is a species of snake in the family Leptotyphlopidae.[3][4] The species is native to southern South America.
Etymology
[edit]The specific name, borrichianus, is in honor of Danish scientist Ole Borch.[2]
Geographic range
[edit]S. borrichianus is found in western Argentina.[2]
Habitat
[edit]The preferred natural habitat of S. borrichianus is shrubland.[1]
Diet
[edit]S. borrichianus preys upon the larvae of ants and termites.[1]
Reproduction
[edit]S. borrichianus is oviparous.[2]
