[edit]The following suggestions were generated by a semi-automatic javascript program, and might not be applicable for the article in question.
- The lead of this article may be too long, or may contain too many paragraphs. Please follow guidelines at WP:LEAD; be aware that the lead should adequately summarize the article.[?]
- The lead is for summarizing the rest of the article, and should not introduce new topics not discussed in the rest of the article, as per WP:LEAD. Please ensure that the lead adequately summarizes the article.[?]
- Avoid including galleries in articles, as per Wikipedia:Galleries. Common solutions to this problem include moving the gallery to wikicommons or integrating images with the text.[?]
- You may wish to consider adding an appropriate infobox for this article, if one exists relating to the topic of the article. [?] (Note that there might not be an applicable infobox; remember that these suggestions are not generated manually)
- Per Wikipedia:Manual of Style (numbers), there should be a non-breaking space -
between a number and the unit of measurement. For example, instead of 9km, use 9 km, which when you are editing the page, should look like: 9 km.[?] - Per Wikipedia:Manual of Style (headings), headings generally do not start with articles ('the', 'a(n)'). For example, if there was a section called ==The Biography==, it should be changed to ==Biography==.[?]
- As done in WP:FOOTNOTE, footnotes usually are located right after a punctuation mark (as recommended by the CMS, but not mandatory), such that there is no space in between. For example, the sun is larger than the moon [2]. is usually written as the sun is larger than the moon.[2][?]
- Please ensure that the article has gone through a thorough copyediting so that it exemplifies some of Wikipedia's best work. See also User:Tony1/How to satisfy Criterion 1a.[?]

Use of "M26" on list.
[edit]My reasons for the M26 being shown in the 'roads joined' section are:
1. The number shown on Google Maps (in the link Jenuk provided) is probably referring to the fact that westbound it is the M25 (It merges in at a similar place).
2. Google Maps is known for errors and is not always a reliable source.
3. If it comes to exactly the same junction, it probably should be listed.
FM [ talk to me | show contributions ] 16:45, 7 January 2009 (UTC)
- I agree with the principle of (2) entirely - Google Maps is not gospel (but it is free, very good, and I'm not going to bash them for it :)). However, the Ordnance Survey 1:25,000 mapping (which I would say is as authoritative and verifiable as we're going to get) and the HA's network model (which isn't published so isn't a valid source, although it is ultimately authoritative) suggest otherwise. Firstly, the M26 starts at the beginning of the slip road that bends round to the south - so yes, you will have to drive on a bit of the M26 to get onto this slip road unless you drive on the hard shoulder. However, of more importance is that the section of road from here down to the A25 junction is NOT classified as the A21 - it is classified as the M25 (contrary to the signs which are "helpfully misleading" for those heading clockwise) - this is shown on the OS map, as well as in the network model. Hence the A21 and M26 do not meet at any point. I'm not at all convinced that the A21 is "multiplexed" with the M25 - the HA wouldn't recognise that, it is just the M25. Halsteadk (talk) 21:25, 7 January 2009 (UTC)
- If the A21 does not multiplex then what does it do? The A11/A14 multiplex near Newmarket does not dsplay A11 on any maps and still 'Multiplex' is acceptable. If the non-motorway route is not the A21 then what is? FM [ talk to me | show contributions ] 17:14, 8 January 2009 (UTC)
- I don't see what's wrong with the concept that the A21 now has a gap, as the published maps suggest. Like the A31 doesn't exist between Winchester and Cadnam. If it is multiplexed here then it must be multiplexed all the way to junction 4 and then along the spur - but this is not the original alignment of the A21 (which is now the A224). So it's not just a case that the original road has been left intact but redesignated. Halsteadk (talk) 18:02, 8 January 2009 (UTC)
Roads Joined (again)
[edit]The roads in the infobox seem to be in alphabetical order rather than the order the road actually joins them in. The latter we had agred to and it was changed but it seems to have been reverted. Anyone know why this is? no explanation was given here. Or was discussion taken place on the wikiproject. Bypass opening dates
[edit]I have changed the opening date from 1992 to 1989 which is stated on the Robertsbridge article. I have inquired whitelisting of the reference here. Regards, FM [ talk to me | show contributions ] 17:17, 7 March 2009 (UTC)

Major junctions
[edit]Hello. I would like to let you know that I have reduced the amount of major junctions on this article from 25 to 11. If you can, then please try to get below ten. If not, then I will do it in the new year. Thank you. Roads4117 (talk) 11:01, 19 December 2022 (UTC)
