What a strong foundation! But the Calvinist influence, and infant baptism are two bad spots........User:Warbler 6/14/05

Well, I for one am all for infant baptism (an explosion & celebration of prevenient grace!), but I think Wesley found a good balance between the rigid Calvinism of his day and what he termed "scriptural Christianity"! Just one Methodist's opinion! KHM03 21:34, 14 Jun 2005 (UTC)
"... Baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ." --I Peter 3:21. Note: Baptism has to be an "answer," according to St. Peter. Just another Methodist's opinion! --Creton4 01/29/2007

Why is the text included in its entirety?

[edit]

I don't think we need to have the text of the articles listed here. Wikisource has them, as it should. This article should be about the Articles, not spit them back verbatim. I'm removing them from the article. –RHolton03:59, 5 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, it took me a few minutes to find it, but see Wikipedia:Don't include copies of primary sources. –RHolton04:12, 5 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
