This information is out of date, the transit system was completly revamped about a year ago and is now referred to as ART (Asheville Redefines Transportation) 98.94.151.191 (talk) 17:50, 25 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This has been attended to. 97.82.193.208 (talk) 21:14, 6 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Asheville Transit SystemAsheville Redefines Transit – Asheville's Bus System has been renamed, as was pointed out earlier by a previous editor. It is now completely revamped and called "Asheville Redefines Transit". Please visit the city's bus page (http://www.ashevillenc.gov/Departments/Transit.aspx) to verify this. Relisted. Excuse me, but that link is part of the same government (i.e., official) web site, so of course they're going to use the new official name. I wonder whether you're just looking for any sites or only those that support your move request. Take a look at the relevant Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/pages/Asheville-Transit-System/78579725102, which refers to "Asheville Transit System" and does not even mention the new official name, the page http://www.nctransit.org/applications/MemberDirectoryManager/inc_memberdirectorymanager.asp?EntityID=9&CategoryID=141 which uses "Asheville Transit System", the site http://www.ashevillenc.com/area_info/public_transportation, which refers to the "Asheville Transit Authority", and the UNCA site http://publicsafety.unca.edu/parking/transit, which refers simply to "Asheville Transit". It seems hard to find anyone completely unconnected to the government that has adopted the "Asheville Redefines Transit" name (which strikes me as a non-neutral name probably chosen by some sort of PR contractor). —BarrelProof (talk) 15:46, 4 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
AB Tech's web page is an educational web page, not a government web site. And with all due respect, Facebook... :S Here is another link using "ART" (Asheville Redefines Transit) in a local newspaper: http://www.mountainx.com/article/42550/Asheville-Redefines-Transit-public-meetings-underway 96.37.27.141 (talk) 16:30, 4 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
