Aurora FC (League1 Ontario) → Aurora FC (Canada) – From WP:FOOTY talk page discussion using league name was agreed to not be the best disambiguating method. Other club with same name is Aurora F.C. from Guatemala which appears to be the WP:PRIMARYNAME. Discussion there seemed to have 3 main proposals - I've listed them here.
Option 1: Leave Guatemalan club article as is and rename this article to Aurora FC (Canada)
Option 2: Rename both articles. Rename this article to Aurora FC (Canada) and rename Guatemalan to Aurora F.C. (Guatemala) and making Aurora FC (currently a re-direct page) into a disambiguation page
Option 3: Rename both articles. Rename this article to Aurora Football Club and the Guatemala club to Aurora Fútbol Club

- Support Option 2 - move to Aurora FC (Canada) and Aurora F.C. (Guatemala). GiantSnowman 18:48, 13 July 2020 (UTC)
- Option 1 or 2 Options 2 makes sense with a disambiguation page, but that's an extra article. You could simply have Option 1, with notes to each club at the top of the articles. Govvy (talk) 14:32, 14 July 2020 (UTC)
- Option 1 I think the team from Guatemala is clearly the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC with regards to historical significance. That team is 75 years old, has won in the top division of Guatemalan football several times, and has competed in continental competitions. I think that article is fine the way it is with just a hatnote. BLAIXX 17:43, 14 July 2020 (UTC)
- Option 2 is my personal preference, but am fine with Option 1 as well. RedPatchBoys (talk) 19:00, 14 July 2020 (UTC)
- Option 1, I agree with the analysis by Blaixx. PKT(alk) 13:53, 15 July 2020 (UTC)
- Option 1 or 2, I'm unsure whether the Guatemalan club is the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC as I don't know either the Guatemalan or Canadian football leagues very well. If it can be shown to be the case, then option 1 is fine; otherwise option 2. Nehme1499 (talk) 15:07, 20 July 2020 (UTC)
- Option 1. League is too precise a disambiguator in comparison to country. Primary topic analysis seems fine and using WP:OFFICIALNAME as WP:NATURALDIS is not a good idea. – Finnusertop (talk ⋅ contribs) 15:27, 20 July 2020 (UTC)
- Comment Look at C.D. Guadalajara and CD Guadalajara (Spain). You con also add these two articles for a common criteria. Asturkian (talk) 06:43, 21 July 2020 (UTC)
