Ponatinib
[edit]In the development of ponatinib section, the second stage molecule is described as 'AP24163', yet the second molecule shown in the schematic diagram is 'AP23146' (i.e. very similar). Are these they same molecule, in fact, and is either the label or the description wrong? (92.24.125.151 UTC 15:04 November 21, 2010)
- The chemical structure and the name on the diagram were actually wrong. I corrected it. Well spotted. Hinemash6 (talk) 19:12, 21 November 2010 (UTC)
Article seems focused on CML
[edit]Could intro say if there is no use for Bcr-Abl tyrosine kinase inhibitors other than to treat CML ? Perhaps the article should be renamed 'Bcr-Abl tyrosine kinase inhibitors for CML' ? Rod57 (talk) 12:23, 23 November 2010 (UTC)
- Imatinib is also approved for GIST.
- [or] Perhaps intro should mention the original article name of Discovery and development of Bcr-Abl tyrosine kinase inhibitors to explain the continuing emphasis ? - Rod57 (talk) 12:23, 18 January 2016 (UTC)
- Could check rename to see if fully merged with any prior Bcr-Abl tyrosine kinase inhibitor. - Rod57 (talk) 12:23, 18 January 2016 (UTC)
Bosutinib
[edit]There is a mistake in the chemical structure of bosutinib. It contain methoxyphenyl moiety not phenoxy. It is now corrected. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.167.226.153 (talk) 10:45, 24 November 2010 (UTC)
