Cho Hyun-woo → Jo Hyeon-woo – His name is Jo Hyeon-woo. He, FIFA, AFC, Korea Football Association, K League, and Daegu FC are using Jo Hyeon-woo as his name.

- Support - appears to be correct spelling. GiantSnowman 15:00, 27 June 2018 (UTC)
- Comment - again, FIFA is inconsistent here. Its title says Jo Hyeonwoo and I see Cho Hyunwoo in its content. ESPNFC and soccerway also use Cho Hyun-woo. Does WP:COMMONNAME apply here? Korean names' Romanization is quite confusing after all. Centaur271188 (talk) 17:40, 27 June 2018 (UTC)
- I'm South Korean. In this case, We can't WP:COMMONNAME applye here. This is just mistake. Name is proper noun. Both Jo Hyeon-woo and Cho Hyun-woo are common Korean names Romanization. This footballer chose his name Romanization as Jo Hyeon-woo. Therefore. we must use Jo Hyeon-woo

- Support - If the jersey at the World Cup says Jo, I have to imagine that they got that one right. What's more, it seems like it's the more commonly found name. Neither of those are great pieces of evidence, but I'd say it's more likely than not that Jo is the right way to write it. ʤɛfiːpiː (talk) 22:43, 27 June 2018 (UTC)
- Support FIFA website is most reliable source. Korea Football Association player information is also Jo Hyeon-woo Jo Hyeon-woo.
