Regarding C_to_HDL, the existing Cascade bullet point should be replaced with:

Finally, Ben Hounsell should be added to the list of company Founders. The following links should help substantiate this claim.

Request for page update

[edit]

An updated version of the current page can be found in my user sandbox.

These are the specific updates:

  • The updated company introduction sentence at the very top.
  • In History, the last three sentences covering 2014, 2015, and 2016.
  • In Products, the Approov section.
  • The new company summary (grey box on the right), with updated details about products, services, and number of employees.

Thanks. (Gabriele at CriticalBlue|talk)(COI) 16:17, 14 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Gabriele. I have updated the infobox and the introduction sentence. The new additions to the history section need a citation to a reliable source, and I would prefer that they aren't written in the style of a laundry list. The problem is that after a few years, the article will be full of singular sentences starting with "In 2017,..." instead of a cohesive paragraph that, rather than attempting to list every one of the company's strategies, describes the overall development of the firm. The section on Approov consists of almost entirely quotes, and carries a slant in favor of the product. Find some neutral reviews of Approov written by somebody other than CriticalBlue, and describe both the strengths and the weaknesses of the product. Hope this helps. Altamel (talk) 23:14, 18 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

In reply to Altamel:

I have made some adjustments to the page in my sandbox, as follows:

  • Further clarified company's security area of activity by linking to OWASP's automated threats.
  • Rewriting repetitive structure in company history to avoid a year-by-year list of events.
  • Used external quotes about Approov in the Approov product section.

I am aware that unfortunately the Approov section still carries some amount of positive slant towards the product, possibly due to the press release source. I hope this is acceptable but look forward to further advice if improvement is required.

Thanks. (Gabriele at CriticalBlue|talk)(COI) 14:25, 16 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Some proposed changes

[edit]

Hello, Gabriele at CriticalBlue has left CriticalBlue and I would like to continue where he left off and suggest some updates to the article on CriticalBlue. I have noted my conflict of interest on my userpage.

This edit request is to give a more accurate description of the work done at CriticalBlue and to make the page more readable. An updated version of the current page can be found in my sandbox - I have highlighted the proposed changes in yellow.

The requested updates are:

  • a minor change to the introductory paragraph
  • rewriting repetitive structure in the company history section to avoid having a year-by-year list of events (as suggested by Altamel)
  • the inclusion of an additional section (on Approov) under Products

I understand that our previous suggestion for an edit to the Products section was lacking a reference to an unbiased source. I have now included a reference to an article from Nordic APIs which gives an independent review of Approov and covers both positive and negative aspects of the technology.

I am very grateful for your continued help with this and for any feedback on these proposed changes

(I have made some changes to this edit request to make it clearer and hopefully easier to review . Thank you, Houseonbluehill (talk) 12:03, 20 February 2017 (UTC) )[reply]

Done, though part of your request was implemented a few mnonths ago. jd22292 (Jalen D. Folf) (talk) 16:58, 8 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed changes to CriticalBlue page

[edit]

Hello, I work for CriticalBlue and I would like to propose some changes to the current article. I have noted my conflict of interest on my userpage.

An updated version of the current page can be found in my sandbox - I have highlighted the proposed changes in yellow.

This edit request is to give a more accurate and up to date description of the work done at CriticalBlue and to address the promotional content warning.

The requested updates are:

  • a change to the introductory paragraph to more accurately describe the work done at CriticalBlue
Not done for now: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format. GiovanniSidwell (talk) 17:39, 9 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The text in the lede has been significantly altered since this suggestion was made. GiovanniSidwell (talk) 20:16, 9 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • the addition of a citation in the last paragraph of the History section

Done added in the appropriate spot (no longer in the history section) GiovanniSidwell (talk) 20:16, 9 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • edits to the section on Approov under Products
Partly done: the suggested source did not provide the cited info, use product page instead. GiovanniSidwell (talk) 17:39, 9 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
    • remove the word ‘solution’ from paragraph 3'
 Already done GiovanniSidwell (talk) 17:39, 9 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
    • delete paragraph 5 beginning ‘According to Steven Puddephatt, …’ ,
Not done for now: I'm guessing that this was supposed to address the advertisement message, but that has been removed. I am unsure if removing this would be controversial, so I'll err on the side of leaving it alone for now. GiovanniSidwell (talk) 17:39, 9 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
    • include details of awards, work with BMW and a research partnership with Alissa Knight
Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made.  GiovanniSidwell (talk) 17:39, 9 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Though a source was provided, this is still of dubious notability. Not adding for now. GiovanniSidwell (talk) 20:16, 9 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • a new patent in the Patents section
Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made.  GiovanniSidwell (talk) 17:39, 9 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
