Change of name

[edit]

Please post any issues with the new section regarding the change of name from FAMILY FOUNDATION SCHOOL to the schools new (although not widely publicized) name ALLYNWOOD ACADEMY. It is fully understood that both sources are credible enough for Wikipedia and should not and do not effect the credibility of the article, in fact they enhance the credibility. Poets thoughts or proposed changes here. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Flyboi9 (talkcontribs) 04:20, 24 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please explain why and how sourced links are not RS. They are and are even linked from school website. Please use this discussion prior to changing main article ~sign — Preceding unsigned comment added by Flyboi9 (talkcontribs) 02:42, 27 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
We have been over this ground many times over the years on this article. Please see WP:RS for what constitutes a reliable source. The blog you are attempting to use as reference fails in many respects; you should be aware of this by now. - Wikiwag (blahblah...) 16:41, 7 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
For the benefit of those of us who aren't FFS insiders, maybe one of you can answer some questions. Has the school changed its name, or not? (Or is Allynwood Academy a new subdivision of FFS?) The FFS website still exists and uses the old name, although the Allynwood name appears in a few places. The Allywood website that was advertised in the press release to Struggling Teens is still just an online brochure. The press release didn't indicate what program change precipitated the name change; I'm guessing that it's due to the addition of The Bridge program for college-age people. --Orlady (talk) 17:33, 7 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
to answer orlady's questions....the school has changed their name. The FFS website does still exist, as the school is known for its original name and does include links to the new name. The new name is also spoken about on the admissions directors video (http://youtu [dot] be/ltJPi6B_oAI), where Jeff Brain, current and listed employee speaks about the name change. The Bridge program was initiated prior to the name change, the name change is due to the negative publicity. There is enough wp:rs for this section to be included. This is not vandalism of this post as user:widefox has suggested. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Flyboi9 (talkcontribs) 03:11, 16 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
