Ferrante Gonzaga (1544-1586) → Ferrante Gonzaga, Marquess of Castiglione – or Ferrante Gonzaga (Marquess of Castiglione). For better alignment with WP:NCPDAB. Wikipedia doesn't ordinarily use lifespan ranges (especially with hyphens in them) for disambiguation of people. There are three candidates for "Ferrante Gonzaga", including a Count of Guastalla at the base name who gets 57% of the pageviews and Ferrante Vincenzo Gonzaga, an Italian World War II general. —⁠ ⁠BarrelProof (talk) 18:11, 31 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Support per nomination. Non-standard parenthetical qualifier with hyphenated vital dates should be indeed replaced by one of the above-submitted standard forms.
