Steele High School demoliton

[edit]

I was born in 1946 and in my early teens, the Steele High School building was still standing. I think it was demolished when Rike's bought the property and constructed a parking structure. The turrets at the corners of the building were very memorable. I know there are several internet sites that claim the building was demolished in the late 1940s, but I think it was more like 1958 or 1959.
