Mayors Parties

[edit]

Some lists of mayors show party affiliation so couldn't that be done here? An email circular regarding administration of the ten poorest cities notes that Newark's mayors have all been Democrats since 1915. Apparently the last Republican mayor was elected in 1907.

The result of the move request was: moved. Clear consensus for moving Mayors of Newark on the basis of WP:CONSISTENCY, WP:USPLACE, and to remove ambiguity. Whilst there is a lesser consensus for the Jersey City and Santa Fe moves, it is clear that WP:USPLACE and WP:CONSISTENCY also apply, given that the articles for each city are located at Jersey City, New Jersey, and Santa Fe, New Mexico, respectively.
