The article doesn't actually say that the village of Squanto was at Plymouth. Was it? --Wetman (talk) 06:30, 2 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

About 3/4 of the way down (in "The Pilgrims" section) it mentions "...the Pilgrims, who were now living at the site of Squanto's old village" which was referenced in the History of the Wampanoag article. Since the Pilgrims did settle at Plymouth Plantation, I thought that would be enough to connect the dots. But, as always, suggestions are welcome... Pawtuxet extinct

The pattern among the Native Americans was to join neighbor bands or even tribes when a community got to low for sustainability on it's own. The remnant of the Pawtuxet were likely to have moved away to join other communities before their population reached zero. RichardBond (talk) 14:03, 23 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
